Carillon Newsletter
The Centre for Psychiatric Nursing has developed a quarterly newsletter titled 'Carillon'.
Why 'CARILLON'? Carillon consists of a series of fixed bells which sound dramatically when struck. They are the largest musical instrument in existence and were first developed in the 14th Century. The Carillon, which was originally associated with the town clock and chimed the advancement of time, can represent progress. The sheer magnitude and strength of its sound is representative of communication over distance.
The purpose of this newsletter is to provide a mechanism to inform psychiatric nurses of the Centre's activities/professional activities. Furthermore, we believe strongly in the philosophy of inclusion whereby this newsletter is a nurse's newsletter.
We therefore encourage you to help us to shape this communication tool through your contribution.
